Purpose:
- The Creative Project Manager is responsible for the business relationship with key business units as assigned and managing the creative workflow of marketing collateral as assigned.
- This individual collaborates with communications colleagues who represent Marketing Communications, Digital, Events, Public Affairs, Internal and External Communications and Brand.
- Develop timelines and monitor schedules in project management system.
- Liaison between appropriate Creative team functions, including account managers, creative subject matter experts (graphic and motion designers, video editors), proofreading and copywriting to ensure projects are kept on schedule and project statuses are updated and communicated to project team members on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with graphic and motion designers on project specifications, final distribution, and asset management.
- Proofread to ensure all edits and comments are addressed and completed correctly on designed material.
- Work with the team to develop cost and timeline estimates for projects and ensure the project stays on schedule and on budget per customer-approved estimate.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Communicate with external suppliers to procure products and services in support of project deliverables.
- Creative agency experience required; creative agency experience within a health care setting desired Communications, Advertising, or Marketing Agency experience is beneficial.
- Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with colleagues on projects that are for different geographies, including U.S., Europe and Asia.
- Comprehensive personal computer skills including demonstrated spreadsheet, word processing and database management capabilities are required.
- Experience working with project management tools and software.
- Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree (± 3-5 years) in Communications, Project Management or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 2+ years of agency or corporate experience
