DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Should work in Agile Software Development (Scrum) and actively participate in all events like daily standup, planning, review and refinement  
  • Provide key inputs during planning and breaking down stories to smaller tasks for execution
  • Should be able to work on tasks based on priority during the sprint
  • Should have strong experiencing building web application on .NET MVC framework
  • Should have strong experience building web application using javascript framework like React.js
  • Should be able to enhance current website features and also build new features as per the business requirement using front end skills like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React etc.
  • Building new web pages and styling them based on the design provided by design team
  • Integrating the code with UI build tools e.g., gulp, webpack etc.
  • Should have Strong coding skills in C# and develop backend REST APIs
  • Integrating website front end with back-end REST APIs
  • Should have experience in SQL database and have good skills in writing complex queries, stored procedures and functions.
  • Check in the code to Azure devops and start a Pull request
  • Trigger CI/CD pipeline to deploy code to test environment
  • Should perform manual QA and should be able to write automation test cases using one of the e2e framework like cypress
  • Should be able to identify, resolve, and retest defects 
  • Should be able to have an Open, honest, collaborative, and clear intra-team communication
  • Should be Self-directed and be able to solve business problems from inception to implementation without explicit direction 
  • Should be Creative, flexible, and willing to continuously change, evolve, and improve software development processes 
  • Leads by example; providing support and mentoring as needed to ensure enough skill, knowledge and effectiveness in the development and testing process 
  • Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent work experience  
  • 4+ years of web development experience; including programming and developing web applications 

 

Technical skills required

  • 4 years JavaScript programming 
  • 4 years of experience building websites using HTML, CSS and other modern front end frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience in React framework
  • 2+ years of experience in C# and .NET MVC
  • 2+ years of experience with CSS libraries like Bootstrap or similar
  • 1+ years of building SPA application
  • 2+ years of experience working with REST API
  • 2+ years of using build tools like Gulp, Webpack
  • 2+ years of Experience working with JSON/XML
  • 1+ years of experience in SEO
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing requirements and designing new solutions
  • Well experienced in GIT source control
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills  
  • 2+ years of Agile experience  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with at least on CMS product preferably Sitecore
  • Some experience working in Azure
