Overview:
We seek a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about software development, cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional
teams to ensure the continuous integration and delivery of our ed tech SaaS product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support the development, testing, and deployment of our ed tech SaaS products.
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot the production environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Automate the deployment process using tools like Jenkins and Docker to ensure faster and more reliable releases.
- Collaborate with software engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of product releases.
- Maintain and improve our monitoring and logging systems to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of security best practices to ensure our products and data's confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in software development or operations, preferably in a DevOps or cloud engineering role.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. AWS preferred.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Ruby. Python preferred.
- Experience with automation tools including Jenkins and Terraform.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Datadog, and Graylog.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
