- The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for partnering with IT leadership to deliver improved cost and service levels with suppliers.
- In this role, you will lead strategy for IT services and software, lead complex negotiations, and execute contracts.
- The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be expected to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders up to the Executive Level, as well as collaborate across a matrixed, global Sourcing organization as part of the broader collection of company entities ensuring compliance with company Technology of America contracting and purchasing guidelines.
- Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities, issues, and economic indicators, including strategic negotiation planning and action plans, to realize cost reductions and sourcing opportunities.
- Drive strategic sourcing decisions in partnership with the business and facilitate sourcing events, RFIs, RFPs, where necessary.
- Effectively negotiate, redline and execute effective contract terms and pricing models, to drive the lowest total cost of ownership.
- Establish and maintain client relationships through all levels of a matrixed, and global, organization and ensure their business requirements are incorporated in sourcing strategies and corresponding contracts
- Identify cost savings, cost avoidance and improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional teams through project realization.
- 8-10 years of experience in Sourcing/Procurement/Contracting, knowledge of IT services and software contracts, sourcing methods and procedures, performance incentives, and contract law.
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Experience negotiating with large technology firms including Software, SaaS, Professional Services, Hardware, and Resellers.
- Proficient in influencing business decisions leveraging data and analytics.
- 11+ years of experience in Sourcing/Procurement/Contracting
- 5+ years of IT contracting Advanced degree preferred: MBA, Master of Management or Law Degree
- CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) Certificate
