- The ADD (Advancing Design Diversity) team is looking for a temporary Project Manager.
- What it takes: An appreciation and understanding of what it means to support the needs of multicultural design-aspiring audiences.
- This work is in support of DEI and REACH (Racial Equity) goals.
- A familiarity with community and education work a plus.
- PM will build and manage T&A's for all ADD programs and project teams.
- Own CFT meeting scheduling, agendas, notetaking and recaps
- Help manage e-mail inbox as needed
- Event scheduling and communication management
- Volunteering tracking and submission to volunteer portals
- Management and tracking of invoices and payment submissions
- Meeting facilitation as needed
- Meeting set up and facilitation, Great interpersonal skills, Organization, Clear communication, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
- DEI Experience is a plus
- Independently leads and provides project management leadership for large programs and projects
- Ensures projects meet business requirements on time and within budget
- Defines and manages communication plans
- Leads activities to mitigate risks and resolve issues
- Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Identifies and communicates budget and schedule variances
- Monitors progress of project and reports status
- Performs any corrective actions and escalates with recommendations
- Manages tasks and designates responsibilities for global and virtual teams of 10-20 project contributors
- Effectively manages work with vendor partners as appropriate
- 5+ years of project management experience leading medium to large size projects
- 4-year college degree required
- Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills
- Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques
- Understands the various application development methodologies (waterfall, iterative, etc.) and can apply them appropriately depending on the type of project that he/she is leading
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint: 5+ Years
- Effectively manages work with vendor partners as appropriate
- SharePoint experience
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for self and others
- Experience managing medium to large size multi-million dollar projects and/or experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience leading matrixed project teams
- Detail-oriented & strong organizational & analytical skills
- High degree of professionalism and high sensitivity for confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal, partnership, and collaboration skills used to solve problems and drive decisions
- Strong sense of urgency and demonstrates initiative and follows thru
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
