Job description
- Modify existing systems and infrastructure required for ongoing development and releases
- Implement ServiceNow modules to meet client needs for employee facing custom app and integration
- Perform code reviews to ensure that the quality bar is being met regarding coding standards, integration, extensibility, and security
- Ensure software behaves as designed by testing it for bugs, performance, and fixing defects during all stages of the development process
- Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design and code generation techniques used to train other developers the system software
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required
- 8 years of hands-on experience in application development, including design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting
- 2 years developing on the ServiceNow Service Portal, inclusive of advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities
- Experience with ServiceNow for custom application design and development using HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, React, Microsoft SQL, Web Services (REST/SOAP, SSO/LDAP, SAML/OAUTH, etc.)
- Test automation hands on experience
- Backend service implementation or integration experience (quick learning and triaging capability)
Skills and Competencies
- ServiceNow System Administrator or ServiceNow or ServiceNow Application Developer training and certification (must have)
