As a Digital Program Manager, you possess the ability to focus on the bigger picture by applying the right mix of operational discipline to systematize routine practices and clear hurdles to enable the Digital & Information Technology (D&IT) organization thrive/perform under the best possible circumstances – allowing Digital Product Leaders more time to focus on strategic thinking, research, problem discovery, and long-range planning activities that will move the company forward.
In addition, Digital Program Manager brings a highly consultative approach and mindset, along with a deep skills in Project Management and Change Management. These skills allow them to act as an easily deployable resource to a variety of complex initiatives that cross multiple GBUs or Product Groups, special projects at Digital Product Leadership direction, and long-range planning/roadmap development activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Program Management
Project management delivery for Digital Product Leaders in critical and complex strategic initiatives that require additional oversight and management to ensure successful outcomes identify and understand interdependencies in complex environments
Support Digital Product Leaders on these key initiatives to ensure planning, commitment, dependencies, deliverables and objectives will be met, show progress to goals and outcomes
Portfolio Insights
Partner with Digital Product Leaders to ensure a unified and consistent D&IT experience and portfolio transparency for all business partners, ensuring the right information is shared with the right business partners at the right time
Provide operational support to D&IT leadership by creating strategic, executive-level communications for Monthly Operating Reviews, GBU Staff Meetings, Major Initiative performance, etc.
D&IT Product Operations
Organize and maintain templates, guidelines, references, and resources for Digital Product Leaders
Provide administration of, and governance for, selected product management tools
In close collaboration with Digital Product Leaders, facilitate creation of D&IT product operations KPIs & provide governance, summarized reporting, and visibility to the D&IT executive leadership team
Facilitate the cross-product process and fostering of connectivity across all facets of the D&IT delivery organization including Enterprise Architecture, Software Engineering, Digital Product Leadership and Product Teams
Apply LEAN principles to standardize and streamline team operations to eliminate non-value-added activity, facilitate knowledge sharing, and roll out best practices
Rollup key D&IT departmental financial information as needed to support LRP, Budgeting, & Financial Forecasts and submit to GBU Finance partners
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Design, Business, or related field
10+ years of progressive experience working with Technology and Business Strategy
5+ years of enterprise program and/or project management experience- organizational scope and impact
Strong results driving change management with a people focused approach to develop an agile, change ready delivery of technology solutions
Proven experience in business architecture, process mapping and stakeholder identification and alignment
Demonstrated experience implementing and applying lean principles within digital product management processes
Ability to take charge and orchestrate work, facilitate decisions, and collaborate with digital product leadership to drive the actions necessary to achieve desired results
Strong leadership and analytical skills with outstanding written and oral communication skills
Ability to lead, collaborate, influence, and coordinate activities in a cross functional, team-oriented environment to deliver technology applications or technical products
Proven results establishing a product vision and road maps that led to successful business value
Ability to understand and discuss digital concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
Demonstrated results showing ability to thrive in a growth-driven and fast-paced organization
Experience with scaling scrum (ex. Scrum@Scale or LeSS) a plus
