- An experience architect (XA) is a professional adept at planning and designing the information architecture of our customer-facing interfaces.
- The XA understands the methods and tools for creating taxonomies, user flow diagrams and screen layouts, and fundamentally understands the methods and concepts related to findability and usability.
- The ideal candidate takes the initiative to study and understand our competitors, market trends, customer wants/needs, and technical implementation to create the best product experiences — and explains/defends design choices with solid insights and well-reasoned rationales.
- digital product / ux design, including problem identification, interaction design, visual design
- Design thinking and process with cross-functional teams to aid in alignment and collaboration
- Strong communication and collaboration
- additional visual design experience (creating design systems, style guides, illustration) a plus.
- Leveraging Design Thinking methods to guide group collaboration, ideation + customer-centered problem-solving.
- Utilize our design system in your work and actively help to evolve it, by creating and improving components, microflows, templates and platform assemblies as our digital product needs evolve.
- Evangelizing design by building relationships outside our working teams, participating in cross-functional/cross-organizational working groups, creating and presenting informative content & selling the benefits of great design.
- Bachelors in a design related discipline such as Web Design, Service Design, Experience Architecture or Information Architecture
- 3-5 years of related work experience, such as UX or digital industry, outside of school or academic study projects, with at least one year of team leadership experience
- Experience using Figma, Sketch, InVision, Abstract or related software. Figma is our primary tool.
- Experience designing for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and shared design system components is a plus.
