Description:
- The Graphic Designer will create on-brand designs for various Public Relations projects.
- They will contribute to idea generation while always designing to the campaign strategy and ensuring that end results meet or exceed our brand and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Designs innovative on-brand assets that drive engagement and build relationships with media and influencers. Including but not limited to:
- Public Relations print collateral for key media + influencer samplings (supporting up to 1–2 mailers per week)
- Thematic & sub-campaign look books (i.e. multi-page digital or print “magazines” to download media on key launches & brand initiatives)
- Any design needs to B&BW PR Instagram channel
- Virtual & in-person event signage (supporting up to 1–2 mailers per campaign)
- Custom branded packaging & other custom mailer elements (e.g. stickers, personalization, etc.) seasonally & thematically
- Custom collateral creation for reactionary samplings (e.g. celebrity, media celebrations a la birthdays & anniversaries, influencer)
- May also include other projects, as bandwidth requires
- Conceptualize and design multiple creative solutions for each project and support the creation and execution of final designs across relevant channels and assets
- Partners with PR team to bring designs to life, using brand positioning and content strategy to create engaging, editorial assets
- Collaborates across omni marketing team (e.g. creative marketing) to ensure all designs align closely with and complement the seasonal and overall strategy to support consistent brand positioning
- Iterates existing designs from Marketing (stores, CRM & digital) for PR purposes
- Presents concepts and finalized projects to PR Teams and Brand Strategy & Engagement leadership
- Partner with Creative Services to hand-off/release final assets for archive within DAM/server
- Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of prior experience in 2D design and illustration with a portfolio dedicated to graphic design elements within the print and digital spaces.
- Strong sense of design, typography and color
- High level of creativity, conceptualization, execution, and design skills
- Fundamental experience and/or knowledge of design with photography
- Highly organized, attentive to detail and able to meet multiple fast-paced deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and project manage key business priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player and positive, proactive attitude with great interpersonal skills; ability to brief senior leaders, foster relationships with cross-functional teams, and be solid partner and collaborator with immediate team members
- Ability to think innovatively and creatively and change course if necessary, to achieve desired results
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc), Mac OS and Keynote/PowerPoint
- No travel required
