Projects the candidate will be working on:                                                                 
  • Convenient Checkout – This is enterprise initiative and very high visibility. Where we are building a common checkout experience across all the properties for the payments.
Ideal Background:
  • We want to be as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate you’re looking for. – Financial Payment experience is advantageous for candidate.
Top Requirements:
  • These is specific to each request. I have added those requirements in the request itself.
Team and Team size:
  •  It will be 7–10-member scrum team.
Responsibilities
  • Build and run the APIs written in Java, Spring boot, Docker,
  • Develop, test and deploy scalable web applications using CI / CD
  • Work in Agile / dev ops environment.
  • Build reusable components and contribute to inner source.
Skills
  • Expert in developing APIs using Java , Spring and Spring boot.
  • knowledge of docker
  • Should have knowledge of Continuous integration and continuous deployment using Jenkins or github actions.
  • Experience working with API gateways.
  • Experience working with Azure cloud.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with large, distributed systems.
  • Must have experience working in agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, JIRA)
  • Participate in design and code reviews.
  • Interact with other team members to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
  • Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering.
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Excellent communication skills
Mandatory Skills:
  • Java, Spring and Spring boot, restful web-service development, cloud
