Job Description:
Seeking to hire an experienced and collaborative Release Manager.
As a Release Manager, you will be expected to work with internal stakeholders, with a complex solution set in a modernized cloud platform, with modern release and deploy processes. This is a visible and multi-year project.
As a Release Manager, you will support Products, you will oversee all aspects of the O&M Process Suite that contribute to the success of a Release and facilitate Change, Release, and Incident processes. Additionally, as an experienced Release Manager you will propose improvements for our release processes for greater reliability and efficiency, as well as scaling solutions as the organization grows.
This position does not sponsor any type of employment visas. You must be a US citizen or a permanent resident with at least three years of residency.
An essential function of this position is working onsite; this position qualifies for a hybrid working arrangement that supports remote work, but generally requires being onsite at least 1 day per week.
Best qualified candidates will have experience and solid understanding of agile methodology, code quality, shift-left and deploy promotion practices with release traceability.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Implementation Change Management Process, including Change Review Board.
- Manage voice of customer in multi-tenant services
- Facilitate Release Process, including plan, build, test, prepare, deploy and rollback if necessary.
- Assist in defining and follow Quality Gates and Thresholds
- Track results of test automation suites (TBD)
- Facilitate Incident Process, including P1 Incidents, Ticket Metric Reporting.
- Support Treasury Roadmap prioritization
- Attend Partner Roadmap and CRBs
- Integrate Program Changes into Implementation Change schedule
- Send Partner Communications and Notifications
- Maintain On Call Rotation Schedule
- Other miscellaneous Scrum Master functions
- On call escalation rotation
- Support Audit and Compliance evidence gathering
- Coordinate regression test results and approvals as part of deploying a release
- Keep Recurring Work groomed and planned, such as updating new Certs, Revised Users for Tableau License renewal, etc
Qualifications for a Release Manager III:
- Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in a business systems application and/or information technology environment OR Master’s degree and four (4) years of experience in a business systems application and/or information technology environment
- Experience with ITSM Tools suite such as Jira Service Manager, 3rd Party Notification tool, Atlassian Confluence
- Experience with DevSecOps tools CICDCO such as gitlab, CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenSearch
- Experience with Cloud based compute and application development solutions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to work effectively across Product Owner, Interface Partners, Engineering Teams, Systems Analysts, Security Analysts
- Prior experience influencing Managed Service Providers both internal and 3rd party
- Technical knowledge of software development and IT deployment
- Motivated by supporting agile transformation
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications and/or database management programs preferred and independent decision-making skills
Qualifications for a Release Manager IV:
- Bachelor’s degree and (eight) 8 years of experience in a business systems application and/or information technology environment OR
- Master’s degree and six (6) years of experience in a business systems application and/or information technology environment
- All qualifications listed at the Release Manager level three Applicable and desired at either level:
- Previous or current experience as a SCRUM Master
- Agile Certification
