Hybrid - corporate office in Houston, TX ; 3 days on-site 2 days at home
Full Time Role
Job Overview:
- Senior Applications Engineer to support customer onboarding and training for customers. Role will consist of equipment data collection, data entry, customer training, and troubleshooting/website maintenance. Position will normally conduct business from an office environment with some field visits
- Database building with internal and external customer equipment information.
- Touring locations and customer sites to collect equipment data. Most locations will consist of an office atmosphere, but some work may occur in outdoor environments
- Coordinate with business units to customize virtual dashboards and manipulate data displays.
- Write simple computer code as required to meet business needs.
- Conduct on-site and remote user training using provided software. Present the information clearly and effectively to differing levels of the customers organization
- Answer questions and relay suggestions made to proper internal entities.
- Willingness to learn new computer skills that can be expanded upon over time.
- Willingness to travel 20% travel
- Bachelors degree in mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Mechanical or Electrical Technology degree also considered.
- 5 or more years professional engineering experience
- Comfortable speaking to large groups and small teams is required to facilitate customer training
- Must be willing to learn the basic components of mechanical and petrochemical equipment.
- First round virtual, 2nd round on site in person
