Projects the candidate will be working on:                                                                 
  • Financial Health Benefits accounts is driving all platforms toward a domain driven structure with high availability in the cloud, and reducing the PCI footprint.
  • Card Domain would allow us to maintain all PCI data within a single platform and ensure use of standard practices across all card products.
  • This creates near real-time processing and settlement via RESTful APIs with a single card processor which enables Optum Financial to become the source of record for account balance and maintenance.
  • The platform will integrate with card capabilities to provide the member with an enhanced experience, through, stacked card functionality, account portability, mail tracking, and digital accessibility.

  • 1 scrum master, 15 developers
Top Responsibilities:
  • Design & Develop reusable components, patterns, and frameworks, encouraging innovation that will enable team velocity
  • Delivering insights and automated solutions
  • Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions
  • Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software, whilst enhancing existing components to ensure that software meets business requirements
  • Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and performance improvement
  • Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software and be able to clearly articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues and plans to technology leadership
Skills/attributes Required
  • 8+ years of experience with coding in java/springboot microservice
  • 2+ years of experience jenkins build/deploy
  • working on an agile fast paced environment
  • architecture/detail design/sequence flows
Skills/attributes Preferred
  • Full stack developers
