Job description:
- We are searching for a temporary BI Developer with Power BI and data analysis experience who can help us optimize our data management and reporting systems.
- Austin, TX is the preferred location so candidates local to Austin will be considered.
- The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to an important mission – bringing life-saving medical products to heart failure patients across the US on behalf of the global health tech leader, company.
- This position is mission driven and will convert to FTE for the right candidate following a one-year contingent assignment.
- Additionally, the role will begin as hybrid (in office 3 days a week) but will eventually need to be 100% onsite.
The priorities for the role will include the following:
- Supporting construction and management of multiple dashboards on Power BI
- Integration and management of various tools and technologies such as MS forms, Teams, PBI, Power apps and PowerON to support business programs and functionality
- Supporting rollout of Salesforce.com to US commercial team
- Enhance and simplify user experience for US commercial teams with our different data products
- Interpret data and In-depth analysis providing meaningful insights on ad-hoc basis for senior management
Preferred skills:
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Power BI developer
- Strong in data visualization skills and reporting/dashboards design in Power BI along with developing/maintaining complex Power BI data models and related measures.
- Be able to write and execute DAX measures, queries and functions in Power BI
- Expert user of Excel (including formulas, calculations, charts and graphs) for ad-hoc data analysis.
- Knowledge of PowerON and various MS tools such as Forms, Power Apps, Power Automate etc.
- Knowledge of Salesforce platform and functionality (from a usability and back-end data structure perspective) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work independently with minimal supervision after 2-3 weeks of ramp-up
- Analytical mind with curiosity and passion for data, visualization and problem-solving aptitude.
