Projects the candidate will be working on:                                                                 
  • This project is to migrate and support the billing and eligibility of individual dental plan subscribers for a recent acquisition of UHC.
  • In addition to the migration of data, we need to establish systems and processes to accept ongoing eligibility from state exchanges.
Team and Team size:
  •  1 Product Manager / Scrum Master
  • 1 BA/QA Manager
  • 2 Business Analysts
  • 2 Quality Analysts (not including the candidate we are discussing)
  • 2 Dev / Application Managers
  • 1 Architect
  • 3 Developers
Top Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the ensuring that all information, requirements, documentation and project decisions meet minimum company standards. Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders (internal and external). The role leads the effort for documenting project requirements, providing clear and consistent communication, and ensures that stakeholders agree to and sign-off on project specifications.
  • Works with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements
  • Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
  • Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
  • Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
  • Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
  • Assists with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options, and communicating these back to the business stakeholders.
  • Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
  • Communicates with project management, development and quality assurance resources in order to break down project into small deliverable increments
  • Three to five years related work experience
  • Demonstrated business analyst skills and project management software skills, including planning and organizing
  • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Must be self-directed, detail-oriented and have strong organization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
