Description:
  • We are looking for a positive and eager IT Asset Management Specialist who can be inserted within an already dynamic team and thrive.
  • The work involves coordinating with the Warehouse team to ensure IT asset care, tracking, and retrieval and ensures compliance with established reporting requirements, loss prevention controls, and procedures.

Ideal Background:
  • We want to be as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate you’re looking for.
  • Business Analysis background - familiarity with ServiceNow and basic WH functions - good written communication skills.
Team and Team size:
  • The team consists of one Asset Manager over the entire team, one Hardware Asset Manager, one Software Asset Manager, and 4-5 other Asset Management Specialists working in the same receiving/warehouse location.

Essential Functions:

  • Investigate, locate, and retrieve lost or unreturned assets using available systems.
  • Communicate with customers on the status of IT Inventory request tickets.
  • Resolve work orders or assign to Warehouse staff for processing.
  • Maintain asset records in Service Now Asset Management Module.
  • Create or maintain reports to support these functions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a high school or equivalent.
  • Experience providing good customer service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a focus on written communications.
  • Works under limited supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Service Now or similar ticketing or asset management system.
  • Ability to follow prescribed inventory control standards.
  • Skill in using a computer and Microsoft Office Suite software with specific focus in Excel.
