- This Project Manager is accountable for the on-time, on-budget delivery of a workstream that is part of a complex and high risk $20M+ program to implement solutions for OT asset management and device tagging.
- The PM is responsible for planning the work, managing a cross-functional team comprised of employees, contractors and vendors at distributed work locations, mitigating issues and risks, and communicating status.
- The PM is also responsible for forecasting costs, tracking actuals, and explaining variances.
- Leads the project planning effort, including the definition of the deliverables and the required delivery dates, creation of a logical work breakdown structure, definition of major project milestones, accumulation of all project cost and benefit estimates.
- Manages, prepares and produces project management reports, timelines, budgets, and documentation. Create and manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, actuals tracking and variance analysis.
- Identifies risks and issues and provides effective mitigation. Drives project activities and resolves/escalates issues as needed.
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience, with management of a $5M project budget or greater.
- Proven experience managing large scale software implementations.
- Proven experience managing requirements specification, design activities, implementation/coding/configuration, testing and final deployment.
- Proven vendor management experience including RFP process, SOW creation, financial control, and aggressively driving vendor to meet date and budget commitments.
- Proven experience on a project with a large number of impacted users, (i.e., at least 200 users) and managing the associated change management.
- Experience in managing project budget forecasts and actuals.
- Experienced with accrual-based accounting.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Utility experience preferred.
- OT asset management experience preferred.
