Job Description:
  • As a Specialist, Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Contributing to the technology roadmap and strategic planning for digital systems technologies and platforms.
  • Specifying, designing, and leading the development of state-of-the-art software technology platforms utilizing Microsoft and Cloud technologies for the use in the dental and healthcare market globally.
  • Being an active member of high performing software development and systems engineering teams in an agile environment.
  • Contributing to and influencing cross-functional teams with customers to identify opportunities and integrate with newly emerging technologies across Client Healthcare.
Your Skills and Expertise:
  • To set you up for success in this role from day one, Client requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience
  • Eight (8) years of developing commercial software applications in a Microsoft environment in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Twelve (12) years of developing commercial applications in a Microsoft environment
  • Ability to lead the design and optimization of cloud architectures and infrastructure for elasticity and scalability
  • Experience with C# and the Microsoft .NET platform
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure development
  • Experience developing commercial computer systems products, including sophisticated software applications and/or network solutions; working with product management, trainers, customers and end users.
  • Established track record of working in all stages of global product development from prototype to successful commercial product launch.
  • Niche skill set or specialty product experience.
  • Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group.
  • Plans, designs, develops, codes and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
  • Revises and refines systems as required.
  • Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation.
  • Involved in testing and ongoing support of business systems.
  • Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
  • Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
