Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

The Communications Manager will create the overall Communications strategy and drive execution to increase awareness and demand, the leader will work with the business unit Presidents and their C-Suite Members to create communication strategies to increase awareness of their unit and shape a favorable impression that drives preference. This role will be responsible for delivering all elements of the Communications function – External Relations, Public Relations, Strategic Communications, Executive Communications, Crisis Communications, Internal Communications, Communications to Advisors.

  • Strategy
    • Develop messaging, positioning, and overall narrative to ensure consistent communications for each business unit both internally and externally through all key brand touchpoints.
    • Drive strategy for industry and media exposure including, press releases, publication contributions, byline contributions, speaking engagements, etc.
    • Develop Communications plans and corresponding budgets to meet revenue and brand health goals.
  • Content Creation
    • Architect and manage the editorial calendar for and project manage the creation of the companies’ communication deliverables
    • Develops content and directs creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message that delivers on the business needs.
    • Create and manage a wide range of internal and advisor communications content including newsletters, emails, narrative content, presentations, scripts, creative briefs, business communications, etc.
    • Consult/assist in the development of marketing material to promote company products, tools and value add services to financial professionals
    • Copy edit, proofread, and revise communications.
  • External Relations
    • Promote company through public relations initiatives.
    • Responsible for management and implementation of media, public relations, and social media in partnership with agency
  • Internal Communications
    • Create and drive the implementation of company-wide initiatives via promotional and adoption-driven marketing plans.


Qualifications:

  • 8 years Communications experience with at least 5 years in Communications with documented results in the Brokerage, Advisory or Trust areas
  • Experience serving the communications needs of multiple brands simultaneously.
  • Familiarity automations tools Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce used to manage communications,
  • Ability to manage a budget and monitor and manage all associated costs efficiently.
  • Demonstrated success translating quantitative data and research findings from customer insights into innovative communication strategies that drive business results.
  • Proficiency in office tools like PowerPoint, Word, Excel
