Description:
  • We are looking for someone with basic coding experience (preferably SAS), some visualization experience, and ability to effectively work with others.
  • The Risk & Compliance Data Analyst will be a member of the ORM Data Analytics and Reporting team within Enterprise Data Governance and Data Privacy and Protection and be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and managing data from a variety of sources in order to identify potential legal, compliance, regulatory, operational, and reputational risk trends for purposes of risk mitigation.
Essential Duties:
  • Data Preparation/Analysis
  • Gather and aggregate data from a variety of disparate data resources in support of enterprise projects
  • Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data;
  • Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, outliers, process improvement opportunities, etc.;
  • Reporting
  • Develop insightful and compelling reporting and dashboards to create awareness of issues and drive the opportunities to mitigate risk associated with data privacy and records information management and cloud transformation
  • Support ad hoc complaint reporting requests for Corporate Compliance Subject Matter Experts, internal auditors, and regulatory examiners;
  • Identify opportunities to improve enterprise-wide collection of complaint data to facilitate ability to create dynamic reporting and complaint metrics.
  • Collaboration
  • Partner with internal customers throughout the enterprise in order to design, create, and implement tailored reporting designed to meet end-user needs;
  • Partner with a number of business lines to improve data collection and integration, as well as continue driving overall complaint Bank-wide complaint handling methods and systems into a more uniform, less segmented system and/or series of systems

Experience:
  • MS Access        4 - 6 Years    
  • MS Excel         4 - 6 Years    
  • SQL            4 - 6 Years    
  • Data Analysis        4 - 6 Years    
  • SAS            4 - 6 Years    
Additional Skills-Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (Master’s preferred)
  • Five years of experience in an applicable data based, risk management environment
  • Proficient in a variety of computer programs and programming, which may include but are not limited to Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SAS, and SQL.
  • Ability to develop statistical models designed to analyze and/or forecast 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills
  • Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs
