Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft 365 administration -- a member of a technical team supporting the corporate Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.
  • Serve as a SME for Microsoft M365 collaboration technologies providing knowledge, encouraging best practices, and establishing consistent usage guidelines to support associates.
  • Work with associates to gather requirements, design, and deploy solutions to meet business needs.
  • Make suggestions and take ownership in the management and roll-out of Microsoft M365 products and solutions.
  • Ownership and support of the corporate intranet.
  • Create and automate processes used for the general management, maintenance, reporting, etc. within the environment.
  • Assist with data protection within Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies, including data retention/deletion policies, recovery processes, data loss prevention, data classification policies, etc.
  • Assist with training material preparation, training presentations and other learning suggestions related to Microsoft 365 education and promotion within the organization.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft technologies within an enterprise.
  • Confident and possessing great interpersonal skills being able to work with people at all levels of the organization and communicate to users clearly at their technical level.
  • Experienced in providing technology solutions and assistance to individuals of all technical levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience with data protection, classification, and compliance within a Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation preparation and execution related to training content.
  • Understanding of PowerShell for administration and automation within Microsoft 365.
  • Microsoft technical certifications in SharePoint and Microsoft Teams a plus.
  • BA in Communications or BS in Computer Science preferred, but not required.
