Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • CAPEX requirement.
  • Provide end-to-end QA/QC support to various IT projects including but not limited to regional initiatives like Digital Transformation projects, KLO etc. and automate QA activities as appropriate.

Ideal Background:

  • Ability to code in C# or any other object-oriented programming language.
  • Ability to work with all the necessary automation testing tools and utilities.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries and work with necessary SQL management studios.
  • Ability to work with necessary development tools.

Team and Team size:

  • Required to work as a team member and or as an independent worker with minimal supervision as appropriate.
  • Depends on assignments, usually around 1 to 2 PMs and or 2-4 Developers, etc.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Design, implementation, documentation, and execution of test artifacts(traceability, test plans, test cases, defects, qa/qc kpi's, etc.).
  • Administer and maintain test & defect management tools, defect escalation and resolution, deployment support.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance the QA automation software and test suites.
  • Develop automated scripts for in-sprint and backlogged test suites as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with all project stakeholders and act as a Quality Assurance liaison.
  • Collaborate and assist in planning, preparing and executing System, UAT support, and end to end testing of software releases and I/O upgrades/patches.
  • Experience in Performance/Load engineering is a plus.
  • Overtime or off-peak hours are required sometimes to meet commitments.

Skills/attributes Required

  • 6+ years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience or Software Development.
  • 4+ years of SQL, data validation experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in C# scripting or any other object-oriented programming language.
  • 4+ years of experience with any automation tool.
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio or any other IDE.
  • 4+ years of experience with TFS or any other source code repository.
