Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • the candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining various applications that supports HEDIS®/Stars.
  • These applications help implement controls to cross-check the HEDIS® software and vendors to ensure completed chases are closed appropriately.
  • The ideal candidate has a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to teach and mentor his or her peers.
  • This individual has the ability to advise clients and to work as a key member of the delivery team.
  • The role will require deep, hands-on technical skills in designing, developing, and implementing.

Ideal Background:

  • Health care background (member, claims, HEDIS®, etc) would be great.

Top Requirements:

  • 6+ years of client-side framework experience including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, etc.
  • 6+ years of experience in ASP.Net MVC using C#.NET
  • 6+ years of Experience with web with relation to the User interface, experience and design
  • 2+ years of experience with modern JS libraries and frameworks like React and/or Angular

  • 21 team members
  • 1 PO 20 developers

Top Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software and should be able to clearly articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues and plans to technology leadership
  • Design and develop software applications and application components in an agile environment
  • Work with geographically distributed teams, with ample opportunity to learn from and mentor teammates in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to junior software engineers
  • Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will increase team velocity
  • Collaborate on the design with other team members and product owners, both inside and outside the scrum team
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets or exceeds coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines
  • Drive a quality mind set within the team
  • Flexibility to be on call and provide support as needed during on call.
  • Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues
  • Work with sometimes ambiguous / conceptual requirements and guide the technical team to provide functionality with the right amount of engineering
  • Possess breadth of knowledge spanning all bodies of technologies, (e.g. databases, middleware, OS, etc.)

Skills/attributes Required

  • 6+ years of client-side framework experience including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, etc.
  • 6+ years of experience in ASP.Net MVC using C#.NET
  • 6+ years of Experience with web with relation to the User interface, experience, and design
  • 2+ years of experience with modern JS libraries and frameworks like React and/or Angular
  • Experience working with health-care related data preferably related to HEDIS.
  • Work in an Agile team environment.
  • 6+ years of experience as a full-Stack Web application and ETL/SSIS Developer.
  • Advanced working knowledge and ability to write complex and efficient SQL for the purposes of data transformations and ETL
  • Experience in working with MS SQL Server, creating/maintaining SSIS packages and MS SQL Server Database Design and Querying
  • Consume and create technical design and supporting documentation for data integration development
  • Troubleshoot, performance tune and monitor the ETL processes and build internal controls to maintain data quality
  • Deploy new upgrades and releases to production
  • Be able to complete assigned activities with minimal supervision.
  • Analyze SQL query plans, suggest and implement solutions to support developers in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Ability to understand data. Apply business knowledge in a manner that will help them be a better developer. Someone who can multitask and is able to perform well under pressure. Someone who can work with limited guidance.
