Job Description
As a Senior Strategist at our client, you’ll get to showcase your expertise in brand development, use your strategic and creative skills to create, refine, enhance, and drive brand awareness across a range of tech brands, and protect the integrity of those brands. You’ll report to the Planning Director at our client .


Core Responsibilities
Working with teams across the organization, your core responsibilities will include:
1. Analytics
  • Gathering consumer data to develop well-informed, insight-driven strategies to stimulate growth, increase brand awareness, and maintain audience relevance.
  • Observing and analyzing market and competitor trends to drive strategies.
  • Working with Consumer Insights, building audience segmentation studies and develop strategies to attach the behaviors/psychographics of those cohorts.
  •  Working with Consumer Insights, designing qualitative and quantitative studies to assess the performance of brand positioning strategies and creative executions.
2. Strategy
  • Positioning brands to meet clients’ ambitious goals, while considering consumer insights, competitors’ behavior, market trends and competitive positions
  • Bringing data to life through information graphics in strategy decks, while also articulating the business implications of the insights presented
  • Building, strengthening, and amplifying brand awareness with all audiences, including consumers of our products and services, employees and stakeholders
  • Working with Brand Managers to establish brand guidelines, metrics, and standards to monitor performance goals and ensure that all products, services, and communications consistently reflect the brand’s promise
  • Conducting archetype studies, while considering attitude and usage, to determine the most strategic personality traits for the brand.
3. Planning
  • Proactively uncovering opportunities to stimulate future growth, whether trend-related, circumstantial or audience-driven, as a sort of Brand Forecaster
  • Working with Account Leads, ensuring compliance with brand standards across all media, as communications are disseminated to a variety of audiences
  • Working with Client Leadership, defining the expansion of the Client Strategy Team to deepen engagement with business-building teams across the organization

Qualifications
Seeking someone with 5+ years of agency, in house or consulting experience who is:
  • Skilled in seeing beyond the data to articulate the “so what” for the business and understands the value in the “what’s in it for me?” perspective of the consumer
  • A strong communicator, both verbally and written, with strategic copywriting skills, strong presentation skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients
  • Excited to partner with our Consumer Insights team to uncover insights, build strategies and ideate collaboratively to push cutting edge tech brands to reach their full potential
  • Passionate about bringing data to life in a way that inspires clients to think outside the box to occupy the most meaningful space in the hearts and minds of their consumers
