- Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma) surrounding program management activities.
- Diagrams and evaluates existing program and project management processes. Organizes, leads and facilitates crossfunctional project teams.
- Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
- Provides consultation on the use of reengineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
- May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
- Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes. Communicates team progress. Performs cost and benefit analyses.
- This individual will need to be able to learn and know Smartsheet (similar to Excel) in order to be successful. PowerBI experience is a nice to have.
- Sets objectives for own job area to meet the objectives of projects and assignments.
- Contributes to the completion of project milestones .
- May have some involvement in cross functional assignments.
- Problems and issues faced are general, and may require understanding of broader set of issues or other job areas but typically are not complex .
- Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.
- Communicates primarily and frequently with internal contacts .
- External interactions are less complex or problem solving in nature. Contacts others to share information, status, needs and issues in order to inform, gain input, and support decisionmaking.
- May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and / or employee in Support Career Stream.
- Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- Requires a University Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
