Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Messaging platform effectiveness and expansion analytics –
  • This role will help UHC measure the effectiveness of its messaging and associated digital platforms.
  • Conduct analyses on operational efficiencies, cost and experience and generate insights for the omnichannel leadership and strategy teams.
  • Become a trusted advisor in a new and highly visible omnichannel domain.

Team and Team size:

  • Sole contributor, but part of a larger team:
  • 1 Senior Manager, 4 Data Engineers, 9 Data Scientists

Top Responsibilities:

  • Data ETL, prep and analysis from SQL, Oracle and big data environment
  • Build relationships and knowledge for best practices on data prep and data understanding
  • Generate Analytic insights from data
  • Prepare and present presentations of data insights to executives
  • Consulting with operations on strategy for omnichannel expansion
  • Engage with stakeholders related to the execution of projects and products delivered.
  • Build relationships and drive awareness and knowledge of advanced analytics while promoting the capability areas of Advanced Research & Analytics team.

Skills/attributes Required

  • Solid analytical expertise: data analysis, statistical analysis, data manipulation, data extraction and reporting (5+ years)
  • Experience with SQL, Hive, Spark and/or other data manipulation and statistical tools (5+ years)
  • Intermediate to Advanced data visualization skills, such as Tableau/Power BI (3+)
  • Adept at using Excel for analysis and visualization
  • Data visualizations and building compelling visual stories
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with leaders across the organization and external customers

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Knowledge of NLP/text mining is a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of chatbot effectiveness is a plus, but not required
  • Experience in predictive modeling, data manipulation, reporting, and analysis
