Responsibilities:
  • Design, development and enhancements of data related requirements from various business groups 
  • Develop, implement and support new features and enhancements for business teams in managing and using their data
  • Participate in all phases of database development from data-modeling to capturing, processing and creating data results as needed by business groups
  • Work with various technology teams (Architecture, infrastructure, development and support) to ensure that a reliable, scalable and cost-effective data solutions are being implemented
  • Work closely with teams to meet their data-requirements
Skills:
  • 7+ years’ experience working with database technologies such as Oracle, SnowFlake, SQL Server
  • Hands on database coding/implementing experience
  • Experience with Data-modeling, architecture and governance
  • Experience with large data-warehouses
  • Experience with AWS technologies such as S3, EMR, RedShift, Athena, Glue, Kinesis
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools (PowerBI, SSRS, Tableau etc.)
  • Hands-on working experience with Github, TFS, CI/CD
  • Aptitude for debugging problems in complex, unfamiliar code
  • Prior experience in building solutions for Financial Services/Derivatives lines of business
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills
