As a lead architect,

  • Practice architecture governance by aligning to architectural guiding principles, best practices, and solutions patterns with business strategies, architecture roadmaps and information models.
  • Develop, recommend and execute strategic and tactical business and technology architecture roadmaps.
  • Oversee the application portfolio rationalization and decommissioning plans.
  • Support architecture assessments and reviews during business ideation, discovery and program/project execution to ensure alignment with business goals and strategies.
  • Provide in depth solution architectural support during program/project solution analysis and design to ensure roadmap alignment.
  • Triage and redirect solutions as required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architecture alignment with all portfolio initiatives based on cost, functionality and practicality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multiple software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
  • Experience in developing business and technology Solutions
  • Proven knowledge of the healthcare industry and businesses
  • Experience in application portfolio rationalization to simplify and modernize the application landscape
  • Significant experience in defining and guiding solutions implementations with business/technical teams using architecture requirements and business/IT roadmaps and blueprints
  • Experience in understanding and implementing of various technologies such as Microservices, Data Streaming, OpenSource technologies, Business Intelligence, MDM, BRM, BPM
  • Experience estimating strategic, operational, and financial impacts of architecture solutions in support of portfolio initiatives

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, consensus building and reasoning skills.
  • Strong documentation skills, especially in support of enterprise standards and processes.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional teams to consensus on common solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 + years in the IT profession
  • 5+ years of experience serving as an Architect in a large, complex organization
  • Previous experience serving in a software solutions design and delivery role
  • Track record of success designing scalable solutions at the enterprise level
  • Relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • This is a contract to hire position to support Behavioral Solutions pillar as an Enterprise Architect.
  • This role will play a critical part in providing solutions to adopt Enterprise Technology Strategies to the different lines of business within Behavioral Solutions pillar..

Experience:

  • Enterprise architecture experience
  • Streaming and cloud technologies experience (Kafka, Azure etc.)
