Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Supporting Production systems for multiple applications.

Ideal Background:

  • healthcare.


  • Basic Java (Not looking for a developer) who can understand the code or analyze the code, Support organization who is willing to work odd hours when needed/if needed, and experience with Monitoring tools like Azure, DynaTrace, Splunk, and SiteScope

Top Requirements:

  • API calls (at least 1 year), Azure cloud (at least 1 year and it can be AWS experience), monitoring tools (at least 1 year)

Team and Team size:

  • 10-12
  • 1 PM 10 Sr. Software engineers.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, troubleshooting and providing solution for production incidents of moderate to high complexity. Identifies vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, as well as maintain metrics to help develop analysis that will drive improvement in all areas of Production Services.
  • Monitor production environment to maintain consistency and provide reliable server and application availability.
  • Flexible to work for extended hours and on weekends as needed to handle high priority issues.
  • Interface with L1 and L2 support groups, providing assistance and guidance as required.

Skills/attributes Required

  • Undergraduate degree or 5 years equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Software Development experience
  • 3+ years experience developing with Java / J2EE
  • 2+ years experience with Oracle
  • 1+ years experience with one of the following continuous delivery technologies (Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift, Azure, Monitoring, Logging, etc.)

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • GitHub experience
  • Monitoring & Observability experience (e.g. Splunk, DynaTrace, custom Grafana)
