Job Description:

  • This role will support the communications for the AMPS Program as part of the of the Global Organizational Readiness workstream.
  • In this dynamic and varied, candidates will be responsible for supporting and managing the creation, development, and effective execution of internal and external communications strategies for a critical Global Supply Chain Program, AMPS | Advancing Client's Planning Solutions, in collaboration with the Organizational Readiness Program Leadership & team.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develops and executes change management communications that inform, align, and engage employees. Utilizes all communication venues and vehicles to ensure maximum reach to all key stakeholders.
  • Supports the development and implementation of the program communications strategies. Manages and executes communications activities around program announcements including program newsletters, executive presentations, Change Network communications, transformation pulse surveys and team recognition, etc.
  • Manages and executes communications activities around workstream deployments including awareness, training and go live and hyper-care activities.
  • Uses expertise in internal relationship management to advise and influence leaders, and to provide counsel and coaching to ensure effective communication to employees
  • Shapes messages and leverages communications channels to effectively inform, align and engage diverse audiences, including a technology (IT) and Supply Chain professionals.
  • Utilizes creative communications approach to drive awareness and engagement with the program. Successfully implements measurable integrated communication plans, effectively reaching key stakeholders
  • Conducts leadership interviews and writes article and success stories demonstrating how leaders are driving transformation.
  • Analyzes effectiveness of internal communications efforts, governs and improves existing processes, and researches new internal communication approaches
  • Incorporates feedback mechanisms and metrics into communications and engagement plans to gauge effectiveness and adjust strategies and tactics as needed.
  • Demonstrates strong skills in organizational communications to shape messages, optimize communication channels, enhance strategic communication plans and provide insights and information at both the strategic and tactical level
  • Aligns to and partners with GO&SC, GSC and enterprise-wide teams to capitalize on resources, venues, vehicles and tools while driving communication strategies for the AMPS program

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of progressive responsibility in the communications field, in either a business environment or agency OR Master's degree and 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven advanced written and interpersonal communications skills coupled with experience with creating and implementing employee communications plans, including change management activities.
  • Experience effectively managing multiple, changing priorities

Strong written and interpersonal communications skills essential:

  • Solid project and time management skills; must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and shift focus adeptly
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization, Strong execution orientation
  • Strong business knowledge with a proven ability to use communications to drive business strategy.
  • Ability to translate complicated messaging into easily understood language

Nice to Have:

  • Strong preference for experience utilizing communications technology tools including Web/Sharepoint Page Editing, Video Production (e.g. Camtasia or similar) Marketing automation tools (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo or other similar software).
  • Creative/Graphics design experience a plus
  • Experience working in a global company - understanding cultural differences and implications of communications to a global audience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and strategic, communications counseling skills
  • Interest or experience working on and leading communications to engage remote employees
  • Problem-solving and negotiation
  • Experience working within a Global Supply Chain organization
