  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and assist in the facilitation of team management by directing the work of and setting technical direction for Sitecore work within the team.
  • Collaborate with business areas to ensure strategic usage of Sitecore, enhance new or modified programs, and to integrate Sitecore to meet business requirements.
  • Document, analyze, and test to resolve problems.
  • Implement solutions and provide. on-going support.
  • Respond to audit reviews and findings for existing applications/software.
  • Apply the appropriate software/system development life cycle methodology and collaborates with others in development work to achieve desired results.
  • Provide comprehensive consultations and analysis at the highest technical level on all phases of application programming and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments (e.g., host-based, distributed, client server, software, hardware, technologies, and tools, etc.).
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend solutions.
  • Identify ways to reuse existing code, and designs prototypes using current or emerging technologies.
  • Lead technology initiative projects of moderate up to the highest complexity which include new development, purchased solutions, and other automation efforts.
  • Provide input to department management for business planning and decision making when needed.
  • Mentor and provide technical training, information, and technical expertise to other automation and business area staff and management, as necessary.
  • Develop and present technical information and expertise to business areas, IT staff, and management, as necessary.
  • Communicate and provide guidance on digital experience best practice to customers, users and implementation teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree: major or coursework in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS) preferred and 3 years of experience in application development using current technology trends and architectural development solutions or relevant work experience. OR an Associate (AA) degree in computer science or a closely related field and 5 years of experience in application development using current technology trends and architectural development solutions or relevant work experience.
  • Strong experience with digital experience strategies and tactics including personalization, content strategy, UX and data.
  • Proven technical competence in Web applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills combined with creative thinking and ability to work on abstract concepts.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

Required Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Sitecore 9.3 MVC and greater.
  • Familiarity with Sitecore headless development and implementation.
  • Experience implementing Helix design principles and conventions for Sitecore development.
  • Experience with Sitecore version and platform upgrades including database and content migrations.
  • Experience with Sitecore CMS development creating Components comprising of Templates, Layouts, Renderings, Sitecore API, Roles & Authorization, Workflows, Publishing, Deployment, Packages, etc.
  • Experience with .Net/C#, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with public or government cloud platforms Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools, particularly Jenkins and Azure DevOps Server.
  • Experience implementing and integrating microservices & API’s.
  • Experience working with version control systems and migrations including Git, Bitbucket.
  • Comfortable working on multiple systems and components simultaneously in various configurations.
  • Experience with practicing Agile principles and frameworks.

Additional Preferred Technical Skills:
  • Experience or familiarity with COTS products inclusive of CRM, CMS, SharePoint Online, PowerPlatform, ServiceNow.
