Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • These resources will work on USP projects in UDW. Like Prime,NIC migration to USP platform.

Ideal Background:

  • healthcare experience is preferred.

Top Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Data Engineering and Data Analysis experience
  • 5+ years of relational database experience
  •  
  • 5+ years of complex SQL script writing experience

Team and Team size:

  • 5-6 members
  • Scrum team – 1 SM, 1 PO and 5-6 Members (DE/DA)

Data Analyst

  • Ability to understand/analyze requirements – review mapping documents and based on the mapping and ticket details profile the data to make recommendations. Determine if it’s an issue with the data source or code, etc.
  • SQL, should be able to write basic queries from scratch, joins with multiple tables, etc.
  • Preferred: DataStage experience, Teradata would be an advantage but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication is also mandatory.

Data Engineer

  • Expertise in Data Engineering and Data Analysis in a healthcare setting
  • Strong Teradata experience
  • SQL experience - Ability to write and read complex SQL queries
  • Experience with Data stage ETL tool
  • Python Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication is also mandatory.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Data Analysis experience
  • 5+ years of relational database experience
  • 5+ years of complex SQL script writing experience
  • 5+ years of experience testing
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodology and Agile tools (e.g., Rally or Jira)
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Healthcare Data Analysis experience
  • 3+ years of SQL or Teradata experience
  • 3+ years of UNIX /Perl/Python scripting experiences
  • 3+ years of experience with ETL tool
  • 3+ years working on large data warehouse/big data projects
  • Healthcare Industry experience
  • Experience in an onshore/offshore model environment
  • Experience with Data stage ETL tool
  • Experience with Enterprise scheduling tools like Airflow, TWS
  • CA Agile Rally
  • Operations/production support
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of open source tools and technologies like KAFKA , Github will be a plus.
