Job Description:
Product Capabilities
  • Nightingale is a WebAPI application. It is built for contact center agents to support customer interactions via phone, email, and chat.
  • Nightingale acts as the middleware to external vendor talking to customer and Client.
  • Nightingale has more than 40 APIs reaching out to internal BBY systems to add/retrieve/update records for the customer. 
Project Description:
Project involves
  • Working closely with Product Owner and team to define and discuss solution.
  • Design and develop web API, ASP.Net applications.
  • Automating build and deployment using Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
  • Coordinate deployment with other teams. 
Position Summary/Job Description:
  • In this role, you will be a critical member of the Nightingale service team, writing and refining data contracts with external vendors, architecting integration solutions, resolving/debugging issues with different service teams.
  • As a member of the Nightingale team, you’ll be expected to work with the Product Managers, engineering teams, external vendors in defining, implementing, and testing solutions for IVR flows.  
  • Knowledge on how to work in a collaborative environment with agile mindset, commitment to looking through our customers’ lens in resolving issues or coming up with solutions are a must.
  • Expected to have good communication and organization skills so that you successfully maintain relationships with our customers, leadership, product team and the development team through excellent communication and organization skills.
Experience:
  • 10 to 15 years of overall IT experience in application development
  • Proven experience as a .NET Developer (7 years or above) or Application Developer
  • Familiarity with the .NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns WebAPI, Entity-Framework, WCF services
  • Ability to lead a team and work with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g., C#)
  • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
  • Experience working with .NET applications and have appetite for performance and scalability
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Responsibilities:
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
  • Requires minimal direction and/or oversight
  • Understands the business supported by their code
  • Participate in requirements analysis
  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
  • Test and deploy applications and systems
  • Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
  • Improve existing software proposing new technical approaches
  • Ability to navigate functionality with minimum documentation and navigate code with minimal assistance
