Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • This is a Portal Development/Maintenance efforts opportunity in Integrated Eligibility for West Virginia.

Ideal Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience hands-on experience designing and development of large Enterprise portal applications
  • Hands on experience in UI/UX REACT, Webservice, REST APIs Produce and deploy secure code
  • Use modern JS libraries and frameworks like React and React Native
  • Proficient using RESTful APIs and asynchronous JS
  • Frequently test your code with modern JS testing frameworks and tools
  • Create accessible web applications (WCAG 2.0 or 508)
  • Experience in Requirement Analysis, Traceability, impact analysis and reporting Experience in Data analysis and reporting, triage, RCA activities
  • Experience with application design and maintenance and technical documentation
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies agile, etc), enterprise planning, and estimation, Experience on Rally, Github, Jenkins Eclipse/IntelliJ experience.
  • Solid understanding of portlets, Java Web Services


  • Healthcare domain knowledge

Team and Team size:

  • Team will comprise of typical 4-5 Developers and one lead/Scrum Master

Top Responsibilities:

  • Coding, debugging, and supporting efficient and effective applications and tools in Portal development
  • Development of Portal application using REACT Native, WebServices, JAVA Script, CSS
  • Create Design and development plan for existing portal application changes for new functionality.
  • Complete unit testing successfully; assist others with debugging and program logic
  • Conduct root cause analysis on all incidents and recommend a corrective action plan
  • Ensure timely update to stakeholders
  • Ensure quality, compliance with applicable software standards and best practices
  • Identify and mitigate risks/issues related to Quality across the SDLC
  • Has hands on working experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative methodologies
  • Provides accurate & timely reports to stake holders
  • Analyzes and profiles data to meet project needs
  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business

Skills/attributes Required

  • 4+ years of experience with modern JS libraries and frameworks like, React and React Native.
  • 5+ Years of expereince of JAVA Script.
  • Experience of using RESTful APIs and asynchronous JS
  • Experience of creating accessible web applications (WCAG 2.0 or 508)
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience in migrating from Angular to React
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry
  • Familiar with authorization frameworks like oAuth 2.0, SAML or OpenID Connect Comfortable with Git

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Hands on experience in JAVA Script/ REACT Designing and worlking on large portal applications
