Job Description

Responsible for leading product lifecycle and development initiatives for our Mobile products
and services. Focus for this role will be on developing pricing and offers for an internal customer with
controlled / limited access, developing path to meet targeted implementation goal, assisting the
development of operational and support processes. Deeply understands industry best practices in
product development process specific to the cable or telecommunications space and translate
appropriate steps for unique organization and market position. Informs and assists with gathering
information to translate high-level process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate
documentation, develop communication plan for stakeholders and process. Supports the development
and communication of product strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results.
Works with different lines of business on implementing new product strategy. Leads product launches
and enhancements of products across service and application portfolio.

Skills Required
  • Familiarity with Mobile / Wireless Communications industry
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction to cross-functional and virtual teams
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
  • Ability to address the public in a professional manner
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to stay current on new technologies related to the Mobile industry
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members
  • Knowledge of Mobile products and services
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret end user business needs and translate them into solutions
  • Strong relationship management skills - able to set priorities, influence others, manage customer expectations and effect change through influence and partnership
  • Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Smartsheet
  • Adept at conducting research into related issues and products
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple initiatives / products simultaneously
  • Identify and support the Why and What of given initiatives
  • Ability to understand the high-level How, but comfortable not having ownership of the technical solution
  • Create and author business requirements / user stories
  • Lead matrixed teams of various size, locations, and job descriptions to successfully accomplish goals within established timelines
  • Ability to effect continuous process improvements
  • Ability to communicate with senior leadership level contacts
  • Proficiency in handling sensitive information

Required Qualifications
  • Product Management experience 3+ years
  • Experience with Mobile / Wireless Industry
  • Level II has a minimum 3-5 years of product development/management experience within cable/telecommunications.
  • Level III has a minimum of 5-7 Years product development/management experience within cable/telecommunications.
