Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Phoenix (the application where the position is open) is an application that is used to create Medical and Pharmacy Plan and Benefit Designs that are then presented to Employer Groups for their Retirees.
  • The final Plans/Benefits that are finalized and sold to various Employer Groups are then sent to another applications called MAPS, and the data goes downstream to various other areas in Health Group from there.

Experience:

  • The type of Salesforce project they’ve worked on in the past.

Top Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience designing and building database-driven solutions starting from the concept phase
  • Minimum of 5 years Development experience on Salesforce
  • Minimum of 2 years employed in Web Services (SOAP, REST)

Team and Team size:

  • (6 Developers and a delivery lead. 5 of the Developers are located in India)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret business requirements
  • Write high quality, resilient, testable code.
  • Evaluate and refine changes against data integrity and clean coding best practices
  • Read legacy code and make precise modifications to meet new requirements
  • Perform system testing to validate requirements have been met
  • Create complete and accurate documentation for all code changes
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

Job Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience designing and building database-driven solutions starting from the concept phase
  • Minimum of 5 years Development experience on Salesforce including:
    • APEX Code
    • Visualforce pages
    • Customization
    • SOQL
    • JavaScript
    • UI performance
  • Minimum of 2 years employed in Web Services (SOAP, REST)
  • Minimum of 2 years employed in writing automated tests
  • Minimum of 2 years working on Agile teams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
