Required:

  • Provide technical direction and prototype the framework for the new DTCC feeds
  • Extensive automation experience working with batch file generation/ETL/data integration
  • Specializes in integration testing and has a data background
  • Experience working with a 3rd party vendor - specifically DTCC and DTCC integration testing
  • API/service testing and automation experience using an industry tool (e.g. SOAP UI, Postman, SOAP, etc.)
    • Extensive experience with Groovy Scripting for creating test scripts
    • Writing assertions and conditional statements
    • Parameterizing the tests and providing request parameters via a file
    • Verifying/comparing API output with Stored Proc output or a static file
  • Ability to understand data mappings in mapping documents and ask questions if there are any
  • Ability to use ReadyAPI (preferred) or any other API automation tool will be an advantage
  • Heavy SQL experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle in a complex enterprise environment (multiple DBs)
  • Good interpersonal skills and experience in working directly with business SMEs and Data Architects
  • Ability to articulate problem statements and discuss/triage into solution along with developers
  • Ability to engage and discuss with data architects/developers/SMEs, ask questions and get the information required
  • Candidate should be a quick learner and ready to take new challenges.

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent collaboration skills, building relationships with the business and development team
  • Excellent analytical skills, must be able to dig deep and understand stand the strategy
  • Lead the QA efforts for planning, writing test cases and test execution along with status reports
  • Coordinate/collaborate automation solutions
  • Experience in GIT and DevOps
  • Create SQL scripts with test cases
