  • We are looking for an experienced Agile Product Owner with healthcare technology experience on the Clinical Gateway team.
  • Our objective is to be the enterprise front door for external clinical data ingestion, standardization, enrichment, and distribution.
  • The agile product owner is also asked to fill SCRUM master and Release Train Engineer responsibilities and may be occasionally asked to cover Business Systems Analyst and / or Project Manager responsibilities.
  • The Agile Product Owner works closely with the Engineering leads, Architects, SCRUM teams, Product Managers, and Product Directors to ensure work is prioritized and features and user stories are groomed to maximize value delivery, productivity of the team, and ensure product objectives are achieved.


  • Work with tech teams, business users, and business partners to understand requirements - Write user stories and acceptance criteria - Manage feature and user story backlog (groom features and user stories, prioritize features and user stories)
  • Lead daily stand up meeting - Lead SCRUM agile ceremonies for the team (story and feature acceptance, sprint planning, progress tracking, sprint retrospective) - Determine dependencies and negotiate solutions

Required skills / experience:

  • Experience as an agile product owner (2+ years)
  • SAFE or scrum agile experience (1+ years)
  • Some healthcare experience (2+ years)

Desired experience:

  • If a candidate with prior experience, OSAM experience would be helpful.
  • Experience with Rally (agile software) (1+ years)
  • Experience with Aha! (product roadmapping tool)
  • Product manager experience / product management methodology knowledge
  • HL7 and / or FHIR experience

Project management experience

  • Knowledge of and / or experience with SCRUM master and / or Release Train engineer responsibilities
  • Extensive healthcare technology experience

Team and Team size:

  • Working with a team of 7 - 10 engineers.

  • Responsible for prioritization, grooming, acceptance criteria, acceptance demo, aligning with users and engineers on what is needed and what is possible.
