We are seeking a Sr. Global Technology Business Analyst to lead and maintain Finance related projects, working closely with business users and the technical development team to implement best-in-breed technology solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ask critical questions of the business to identify and document business requirements, determine fit/gap and design options, document pros/cons related to options and provide a final, technology recommendation.
  • Approach new asks with the mentality of, “What problem are you trying to solve?”
  • Work independently with Finance Team members, Oracle Support, outside software vendors, and technical development teams to complete assigned projects.
  • Lead small to medium projects: track project progress, identify, document, and track next steps and milestones, create UAT schedule and test plans, and ensure documentation exists for project success
  • Collect and document business requirements, functional and technical specifications, process flows, test cases, and working with the business to lead UAT.
  • Learn new systems and research new functionality independently.
  • Assist with production support tickets when needed
  • Assist management in reporting progress of Finance projects to provide absolute transparency.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

  • You will create technical / functional specifications, offer design solutions, create test plans, perform system testing, coordinate UAT and assist with implementations related to all Finance systems: Oracle e-Business Suite, Concur, Kyriba, and others
  • Provide production support when needed, interfacing with the business and technology to resolve issues
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our users worldwide as a front-line support specialist for Finance technology solutions
  • Dedicated to creating and establishing strong partnerships with Finance, your own teammates, and outside vendors to provide best-in-breed solutions
  • Work hands-on to resolve highly complex and mission-critical issues
  • Identify new ways of working as we continue to modernize not only Finance, but also Technology

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN:

  • Strong communication; both verbal and written
  • A practical, proactive approach, as well as strong analytic and communication skills
  • Proven problem solving and technical communication skills for business processes, including leading meetings and presentations
  • Desire to grow, adapt, learn, and partner with others
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years (flexible) of combined BSA experience with increasing levels of responsibility is preferred
  • Finance modules, and other Financial software, or other, large-scale ERP systems
  • Interest in supporting global markets, learning their rules and regulations, and their ways of working
  • Lead of mid-scale or larger projects a plus
  • Experience working with JIRA in a Sprint process
  • Experience using Confluence to manage Business Requirements and create functional and/or technical documentation
  • Flexible schedule when working with global markets
  • Experience with Agile way of working a plus

This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
