Job Description:
  • Focuses on technological solution delivery by guiding and inspiring strong coding practices and solid software design decisions among their team.
  • Responsible for growing and mentoring engineers as it relates to technical skills and career development.
  • Assists with cross-team strategic efforts, influencing decisions to achieve efficient delivery of business value.
  • Understands cross-team technical roadmaps, advocating new product abilities based on technical strategy and constraints.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to six years of relevant technical experience
  • Three to four years of leading a software engineering team
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • 7 or more years’ of hands-on development with Java Enterprise Edition on application servers such as Apache Tomcat or JBoss EAP and Oracle (or Microsoft SQL) database
  • Experience with 2-3 full cycle Master Data Management (MDM) implementations
  • 5 years’ hands on development with Tibco EBX 5.7.x or higher or IBM Infosphere MDM
  • Knowledgable on Real-time, near real-time and batch data integration patterns and best practices, REST and SOAP web services
  • Extensive experience in Software development life cycle and methodologies such as Agile Scrum or SAFe
  • Frontend and backend application design and development using Java Enterprise and Tibco EBX
  • Implementation experience using Java and Tibco EBX
  • Experience with near real-time data integrations using JBoss Fuse, Apache Camel, CXF, ActiveMQ, XML & JSON
  • Experience with source code control and CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Artifactory, Maven and Jenkins
