Description:

  • The Anaplan Solution Architect responsibilities include: Own and deliver an E2E Anaplan platform-based solution to a given business problem working with a virtual team consisting of Anaplan Developers,
  • Functional leads and End Users Work with product owner and customers to identify business requirements and shape approach and solutions.
  • Meet directly with end-users and leadership to demonstrate solutions, answer questions regarding capabilities and requirements, and work to resolve issues that arise during the development cycle
  • Create functional requirement documents and functional designs.
  • Craft high-level and detailed design documents and implement innovative solutions using the most recent Anaplan features and technology
  • Examine functional specifications and translate them into system guidelines that shape project development as well as find ways to align projects with enterprise-level systems.
  • Accountable for how the Anaplan application will look, what the modules will be, how they interact with each other, how things will scale for the future and how they will be maintained. Work with model builders ensure design is understood and built according to specification.
  • Ultimately responsible for the vision that underlies the solution and the execution of that vision into the solution. Deep knowledge on Anaplan current architecture, features and future road map

Responsibilities :

  • Consults with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs turning those needs into system requirements.
  • Provides technical expertise for system functional specifications and deploys new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner.
  • May configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, system, and integration testing to meet business requirements.
  • May lead cross functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

  • Contributes to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy with a significant impact on work group results .
  • May manage large projects or processes that span outside of immediate job area.
Innovation and Complexity:
  • Problems and issues faced are difficult, moderately complex and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation .
  • Develops solutions to moderately complex problems, and/or makes moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products independently to enhance performance of job area.
  • Implements solutions to problems.
Communication and Influence:
  • Represents organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives; communicates with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels .
  • May negotiate with others to reach understanding or agreement, and influence decision-making.
Leadership and Talent Management:
  • Typically provides guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
  • Typically manages major / moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • May have broad knowledge of project management.
  • Requires a University Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
