- The UX Product Team is driven by customer obsession and grounded in customer research.
- Our work is diverse and impacts the larger customer experience in a variety of ways including designing for web views, app, retail, in-home, communications and voice.
- The UX Designer plays a central role in the promotion of Human Centered Design, participates in defining and facilitating discovery efforts, is responsible for the communication of design intent, and advocates for continuous improvement of customer experiences.
- The Purchase & Enjoy team designs user experiences for our customers who are engaging in the transactional steps of our website (everything after a user clicks Add-to-Cart, through Cart, Checkout, Thank You page, and receiving their product). We also deal with pricing and promotions as well as product fulfillment (shipping, delivery, store pickup).
- As a UX Designer on the Commerce View Team, you will work with a collaborative team of UX designers, content designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to create human-centered experiences supporting our digital Cart, Checkout, and transactional experiences.
- The UX Designer plays a central role in the promotion of Human Centered Design, participates in defining and facilitating discovery efforts, is responsible for the communication of design intent, and advocates for continuous improvement of customer experiences.
- Work with UX designers, product managers, engineering leads, and business stakeholders to create solutions and align customer and business needs.
- Leverage customer research, site metrics, and usability findings to make recommendations and drive strategy.
- Work to understand the problem space and foster a shared vision of the future.
- Participate in a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with customer research, analytics, consumer insights and A/B testing teams on methodology and approach for the testing of XD strategies.
- Current case studies that demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in UX design.
- At least 2 years working as an embedded product designer alongside product management and engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience as a UX Designer or 6+ yrs in a Design related role.
- Advanced knowledge of UX Design principles and deliverables (designs, wireframes, prototypes, etc.).
- Advanced skills with tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Miro, Photoshop, etc.
- History demonstrating human-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, usability standards and best practices.
- Ability to present designs, drive consensus and negotiate trade-offs.
- Ability to work through design solutions and understand the technology behind those solutions.
- Effectively manage multiple projects.
- History of proactive communication, storytelling and interpersonal skills.
- History of balancing the agile work environment and iterative product development while maintaining a cohesive view of the overall customer journey.
- 4+ years of experience required (6+ preferred)
- Customer-obsessed focus

- Advanced knowledge of UX Design principles and deliverables (designs, wireframes, prototypes, etc.).
- Advanced skills with tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Miro, Photoshop, etc.
- History working in an agile environment (for design as well as engineering)
- Ecommerce experience in transactional UX.
- Experience designing for Accessibility Standards.
- Ability to handle multiple efforts, attention to detail, relationship-building, strong communication skills, and accountability.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Centered Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Information Architecture, Communication, related field or equivalent industry experience.
