Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Summarizes data and analyzes results, and independently formulates conclusions.
  • Leverage analytics and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision-making.
  • Develop consistent, accurate, and operational metrics to track the performance of internal teams, including ongoing support/analysis on performance against company key results.
  • Design/develop database objects with efficient structures
  • Identify issues within existing source systems, tools, processes, data sources, and dashboards, including making suggestions to improve accuracy.
  • Understand how existing business processes and practices are reflected in our data and reporting.
  • Write optimized queries, views and triggers for integration with other applications,
  • Understand the critical KPIs that drive success and design innovative reporting solutions to measure KPI performance.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross functional team in both synchronous and asynchronous project environments .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable reports, and dashboards.
  • Detail and quality-oriented with the desire to quickly learn new concepts, business models, and technologies.
  • Propose changes/enhancements to the process and drives implementation of these changes/enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related degree
  • 5+ years of MS SQL Server Database.
  • 5+ years of ETL Tools like MS SSIS..etc
  • 3-5 years of experience in Business intelligence/Analytics/Data Science
  • Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS
  • In-depth analytical skills and the ability to convey complex concepts
  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a results-driven approach
  • Ability to write complex, efficient and eloquent SQL queries to extract data and query performance evaluation.
  • Persistence and a strong task orientation balanced with excellent teamwork, listening skills
  • The ability to perform well under pressure, and adjust to changing priorities, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good troubleshooting skills is highly preferable
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing large modeling efforts involving complex business problems
  • In-depth understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts, including hands on experience building ETL/ELT data pipeline
  • Strong data modeling skills.
  • Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies
