Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • This contractor will be working on maintaining our SOP repository, making sure our SOPs are updated as needed and are kept current.
  • They will facilitate work sessions to flow out processes and then create SOP documentation, take it through the appropriate reviews and approval processes and then publish them in our SOP sharepoint for use.

Team and Team size:

  • One manager 2 analysis and this one temporary contractor

Responsibilities:

  • Develop or coordinate with individuals or teams to create Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) for OCIO IT organization
  • Act as the liaison between Developers, QA, Business and Systems Analysts and project management groups to support and maintain the library of SOP documentation.
  • Communicate SOP content or train the OCIO IT teams on the procedures
  • Develop strategies to drive process consistency in teams and in documents to support development life cycle and governance processes
  • Recommend and implement best practices for tasking
  • Plan and manage assignments of varying scope
  • Resource to senior leadership
  • Provide a broad business approach
  • Facilitate teams with very diverse viewpoints when defining processes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2+ years’ experience creating standard operating procedures
  • 2+ years’ experience creating technical documentation
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT in multiple roles: Software Development, QA Testing, PMO, Requirements or Business Analysis
  • Critical to have excellent oral and written communication skills
