Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, Deploy, and Configure security and networking controls in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud with a primary focus on AWS.
- Continuously look to streamline and reduce costs via improving processes and security automation
- Maintain systems and documentation as needed for audits and compliance
- Technical and analytical skills to handle security incidents and threats
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge.
- 3 - 5 years of experience of highly technical experience with public cloud network design in AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with networking technologies and core Internet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, wireless, and distributed networks)
- Solid understanding of networking to include routing, switching, firewall, network monitoring and management.
- Networking experience with AWS controls such as Transit Gateways, VPCs and Load Balancers or similar controls in other cloud providers
- Security experience with Cloud environments and security tools such as Firewalls, Application Gateway/WAF, NBL, Network Security Groups (NSGs), VPN Gateway and/or comparable 3rd party vendor security products in any public cloud environment
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with supporting critical business applications in a large enterprise
- Familiarity with common high-availability and disaster recovery patterns
- Cloud or Network certifications
- Bias for action and ownership
- Exposure to healthcare domain and security needs be an added advantage
Ideal Background:
- Ideal candidate should have knowledge on cloud technology AWS/AZURE/OCI and have hands on experience working as Network engineer. Should have knowledge on Infrastructure as code and able solution and build on public cloud.
Experience:
- Deeper knowledge on Cloud Networks.
Top Requirements:
- a. IaaC using any of this (Terraform/Cloud Formation)
- b. VPC and Transit Gateways
- c. AWS or Azure services
