Seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our Business Technology unit. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units, including to manage resources, schedules, financials and to adhere to guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle.

This role will also deal with management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery, and contribution to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. The Sr. Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis, verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality within the specified constraints of time and cost, and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related fields, with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 8 years working within the IT/Business industry work experience is required.
  • Candidates should have experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment;
  • Full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle;
  • Previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation; SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall;
  • Drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary;
  • Successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget; Leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance. 
  • Candidates should hold skill or knowledge with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and/or Senior Leadership; 
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs;
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective; Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment;
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives;
  • Ability to adapt to change and competing demands through self-motivation and demands;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical staff, and up to all levels of management.
