Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • This position is geared to support HITRUST certification assessment efforts as it relates to the enterprise information risk governance strategy.

Ideal Background:

  • Someone who has conducted technical IT testing on audits; performing walkthroughs, documenting test plans and results and communicating risks and findings to business partners preferably using the HITRUST CSF.
  • 2 years of IT Audit/Security experience
  • Ability to document and assess IT control environments, evaluate IT risks and controls in those environments, and identify appropriate remediation solutions.
  • Experience translating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills along with an ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple deliverables simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment - HIPAA, HITRUST, SSAE18, PCI or SOX 404 experience preferred

Experience:

  • HITRUST assessor experience

  • 10 US based leads/peers and 10-13 international peers
  • All IT Auditors

Top Responsibilities:

  • Consistently executes IT risk and control projects (HITRUST) with minimal supervision and demonstrates technical proficiency for assigned assessments
  • Executes scoping and planning activities, performs detailed procedures and develops final report
  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
  • Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues and performs complex conceptual analysis
  • Coordinates testing and documentation requests to ensure IT assessment procedures address the objectives, scope and risks
