The Product Life Cycle Management Solutions Lead will be responsible for working under the guidance of engineering and records subject matter experts to develop and implement PLM solutions in our current Teamcenter Multi-CAD global environment including NX, SolidWorks, Creo and Solid Edge. You will collaborate with functional business, technical and development teams to understand technical requirements, design and develop solutions, and maintain quality documentation with a focus on surpassing customer expectations on achieving high quality and on-time delivery. Highly skilled with extensive proficiency and technical expertise working with minimal supervision on complex projects.
Role Responsibilities:
- Own the technical design for enhancing and extending our enterprise application software and providing ongoing support for applications.
- Managing, communicating and delivering projects through the entire software development lifecycle, providing documentation, change management, testing, training and mentoring as appropriate.
- Providing operational support including troubleshooting complex issues leveraging strong problem-solving skills, identifying root cause and following change management process to migrate fixes.
- Coordinating and working across IT to develop, maintain and execute architecture strategies, coding standards, documentation, security and quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Selecting and interacting with 3rd party vendors to identify global software, integration, delivery and service solutions for complex applications.
- BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent level of experience and knowledge in PLM solution delivery.
- Minimum of 5 + years of experience implementing PLM Teamcenter solutions (BMIDE, Workflows, Classification, Query Builder, BOM Management, Active Workspace, CAD integrations (SWIM, iPEM, SEEC etc.)
- Experience leading a team during a major multi-location software implementation or upgrade.
- Experience partnering with stakeholders across a global enterprise to understand user requirements for enhancements and system upgrades.
- Direct professional working knowledge of infrastructure as applied to application solution design such as UNIX, LINUX, Windows, virtualized hardware environments, web servers, automation scripting, AD, SAML, SSO, SSL, Java EE and .NET web tier, Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases.
- A self-starter with strong communication, problem solving and technical solutioning capabilities that will set you apart from the rest
- Experience partnering with developers on customization and an understanding of tools such as C, C++, Java, Java Script, HTML, XML, XSL, ITK (preferred).
