Job Description:

  • The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities for business process and technology projects in areas of ERP (order management, finance and accounting, customer service, supply chain & distribution) and CRM.
  • The role holder will keep management, clients and other stakeholders informed of project status and prioritize decisions, issues, risks to ensure the project stays on track.
  • This role will require a hybrid skillset to oversee business process definition and system configuration/development.
  •  This role will require coordination with workstream business leaders to ensure end-to-end processes are integrated across workstreams. 
  • It will also require regular meetings with system owners for ERP and CRM development to develop timelines for system implementation activities and ensure coordination across systems in the landscape. 
  • Strong knowledge in these areas, as well as infrastructure and the life cycle of application development are required.
  • This role will report to the Program Manager and will be accountable for weekly status reporting to program core team, and business sponsor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Consult with cross-functional business teams to define solution scope and identify high level business requirements
  • Develop project plans to define required activities and timelines, track progress against plan, facilitate decision making, identify risks and develop mitigation plans, and facilitate resource planning to enable delivery
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule
  • Facilitate planning, requirements and design meetings with business teams, functional, and technical system experts
  • Act as point of contact between business personnel and IT staff
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Strong business process and customer service orientation
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system projects; familiarity with project lifecycle
  • and deliverables
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach, able to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), able to relate with users, service providers, management and internal / external teams

Dimensions – Education / Experience / Skills:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage simultaneous projects in a complex environment
Desirable:
  • PMP certification
  • Experience in implementing or supporting SAP ERP projects
  • Experience with development of consumer digital platforms and integrations
  • Experience in designing and developing system integrations
