DESCRIPTION:

  • The Senior IT Business Systems Analyst within the UDI Process Team will work alongside other business analysts, gathering business requirements, performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, translating business requirements into functional requirements, and creating functional specification documents, and perform some functional testing.
  • The BA must be able to lead design workshops, lead sessions with the development team all within the context of client's Systems Compliance Methodology (MSCM).
  • Solutions will need to be global, cross-operating unit, and cross-functional (Regulatory, Quality and IT).
  • Should have good communication skills and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the successful implementation of UDI System enhancements to comply with EU MDR regulations and processes.
  • Accountable for all project life cycle phases, with emphasis on translating user requirements into functional specifications for any associated Reporting, Data Conversion, Data Mapping, Interfaces, Integration, Enhancements, and Process design needs.
  • An understanding of SAP ECC, SAP MDM, Oracle DB (or equivalent RDBMS) is essential. Understanding of SAP BPM Portal is highly preferred.
  • Work independently with end-users and business partners to assess the business customer requirements, match these requirements to objectives, processes and products including developing specifications and enhancements that will achieve the customers and business goals
  • Work with the technical team to effectively translate the functional specs into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Create and execute functional test scripts.
  • Work with the testing team to effectively complete system testing.
  • Responsible for working with the end users to perform user acceptance testing.
  • Maintain documentation, including solution, functional specification, and test scripts.
  • Plan, develop, and implement advanced concepts, techniques, and standards that support the strategic objectives of the program.
  • Ensure proper validation documentation is created for all projects (ensuring compliance with MSCM).
  • Provide detailed functional knowledge and maintain insight to current industry best practices and how they can be applied to client..
  • Ensure that client's  systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with client's Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as best Information Protection practices.

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelors degree
  • 7+ years of experience with a bachelors degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in business process definition, business process improvement, requirements gathering and definition, and technology solution research.
  • Assist with and ensure compliance to Data Governance standards and data policies.
  • Ability to write conversion specifications, functional specifications, and technical specifications for adding functionality or enhancements.
  • Experience in sophisticated testing methodologies (Unit Test, Integration Testing, Interface Testing, Volume, UAT, Regression) using HP ALM or Quality Center.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or business-related discipline.
  • Comprehensive understanding of complex software and information technology solutions and ability to apply to client needs.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills in issue resolution and integration aspects like interfaces and cross module transactional data.
  • Experience in facilitating small to large groups through challenging discussions.
